On behalf of the Spine Society of Europe I would like to welcome you to SpineWeek 2008 to be held in Geneva.

SpineWeek is a quadrennial meeting where the Spine Society of Europe joins with our friends and colleagues in the other spine societies around the globe in the largest and most stimulating meeting related to the spine. Those of you who attended the last meeting in Porto will need no further encouragement to attend what promises to be another outstanding success. The opportunity to meet and talk with members of diverse disciplines from all around the world is unparalleled.

Scientific sessions are already being planned and the quality of the speakers will be second to none. In addition spine week offers a relaxed atmosphere to meet, chat and have fun.
