The Scientific Programme Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for consideration and inclusion in the programme. Please find below instructions for preparation of abstracts.
Before preparing your abstract carefully study the instructions given below.

A. General Policies
1. Abstracts must be submitted in English before November 15, 2007
2. Notifications of acceptance will be sent to presenting authors before February 5, 2008.
Scheduling details and instructions for oral and poster presentations will be included within this correspondence.
3. Authors whose abstract is accepted must register for the Congress by February 15, 2008.
Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the programme and the abstract will not be published in the Abstract Book
4. Previously published work will not be reviewed.
5. Submissions not conforming to established guidelines will not be reviewed.

B. Submission Procedures
Authors must submit their abstracts online using the abstracts submission on the website : www.spineweek.com. Authors have to click to which Society they want their abstract to go and the submission will automatically go to the appropriate secretariat. No double submission
will be accepted. Each Society constitutes its own programme committee and selects its own papers.
Correspondence: All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to the presenting author.
Presentation Format: Please indicate “oral” or “poster”. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reassign submissions.

C. Abstract Format
1. Abstract title must be in CAPITAL letters. Do not indent. Title should be concise and indicate the content of the abstract.
2. Abstract text must be single-spaced and justified at the left margin only. Do not leave blank lines between paragraphs.
3. Text must fit within the borders of the box (maximum 300 words).
4. Please no tables, graphs and other types of images in abstract.
5. Use standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full term the first time it appears.
6. Proofread carefully before submitting. Abstracts will not be edited.

D. Deadline for submission
Deadline for paper submission is November 15, 2007
